Our other facility is located in southwest Beijing and has a full complement of facilities, with both the operating theatre and rehabilitation centres being located within the same complex. The rehabilitation centre provides occupational and physical therapy and is designed in a way that ensures maximum privacy to the patient. It is equipped with the latest equipment to ensure that patients are able to maximize the effects of their treatment. The facility has round-the-clock nursing and doctors ready to assist patients with their specific needs. Each room has an extra bed and can accommodate two care-providers.

The Fengbao clinic was set up in 2008 as a new independent clinic and has treated over 1800 patients for various neurological diseases, conditions and injuries. The centre was established with the specific aim of treating difficult to treat conditions, where current techniques have limited success, by doctors who have already gained a wealth of experience treating patients with stem cells in other facilities in China.

The centre is headed by Dr Wu, who has been researching the clinical use of stem cells since the 1980s.Dr. Wu used to work as a resident neurologist in one of China’s most renowned hospitals, the Beijing Union Hospital, during which time he got increasingly frustrated with the available treatment for neurological conditions at that time. In 1989, he decided to research stem cells as a possible alternative treatment - with a direct focus on their usefulness in medical treatment.
