The Navy General Hospital was established in 1954 in the heart of Beijing and has been providing the highest level of care in China ever since. In 1990, the hospital was granted the prestigious status of being an upper-tier first class hospital by the Chinese government and, in 2008, a brand new building was opened to meet the hospital's ever increasing needs.
